San Diego Air Charter

Most San Diego Air Charter operations are conducted from Carlsbad’s Palomar Airport which has the largest air charter presence in San Diego County.

Air2Air, Schubach Aviation, Jetsource, and Premier Jet all operate primarily out of Palomar Airport. Second behind Carlsbad Palomar Airport is San Diego International Airport due to the number of transient aircraft which choose to land there rather than the outlying airports.

Gillespie Field in El Cajon is next on the list with Montgomery field almost tied for daily operations. Gillespie field has the best runways and infrastructure, but Montgomery is most centrally located to downtown San Diego. In addition to those three major San Diego Air Charter airports, there are several more which are available. Oceanside Airport, Ramona Airport, and Brown Field provide convenience for North County, East County, and South Bay access.
